Terms of service
The agreement between you and us. Written to be read, including the parts most services bury.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you (or the company you represent) and Hellofew, Bengaluru. Using Hellofew means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may bind it.
2. What Hellofew does
Hellofew reads a page you give us, works out who you should be talking to, finds matching people on LinkedIn using your own connected account, writes a message for each of them, and — once you approve — sends those messages from your account at a deliberately low rate.
3. The LinkedIn question, stated plainly
In plain English
Automating LinkedIn is against LinkedIn's rules. LinkedIn can restrict or ban your account for it. We do everything we reasonably can to make that unlikely, but we cannot promise it will not happen, and the account is yours, not ours. If that is not a risk you want, do not use this product — and we would rather tell you now than after.Using automated tools on LinkedIn is contrary to the LinkedIn User Agreement. LinkedIn may restrict, suspend or permanently close an account it believes is automated. You accept that risk. What we do about it:
- Hard caps of 20 invitations a day and 80 a week, ramped up from five over three weeks. These are constants in our code, not settings — you cannot raise them and neither can our support team.
- Sending only inside your working hours, from one fixed address in your own country, with human-looking gaps.
- Every message references something specific and true about the recipient.
- Automatic slowdown and freeze if acceptance rates fall or LinkedIn pushes back.
- Nothing is sent that you have not approved, unless you turn that off yourself.
This only holds if you hold up your end. Running a second automation tool on the same account — a Chrome extension counts — makes every number above meaningless, because we cannot see what the other tool is doing. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Your account and your responsibilities
- The LinkedIn account you connect must be yours, and you must connect it yourself.
- You are responsible for who you contact and on what lawful basis.
- You will not import purchased or scraped lists without a lawful basis to contact them.
- You will honour removal requests, and we will honour them on your behalf.
- Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself.
5. Payment
Hellofew costs $49 per month, billed in advance through Dodo Payments, who act as merchant of record. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Your first 14 days are refundable in full on request, no reason needed. After that we do not pro-rate part-months — but if we take your money and the product does not work for you, email us; we would rather refund you than argue.
- If a payment fails, sending stops. That is deliberate: an unpaid account still running automation on your LinkedIn profile helps nobody.
- Prices can change with 30 days' notice by email, never mid-period.
6. What we promise, and what we do not
We will run the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise particular reply rates, meetings, revenue, or that LinkedIn will never object to your account. There is no uptime guarantee at this price — this is a small, self-hosted product, and we would rather say that than invent a number.
7. Suspension
We may suspend an account, with notice wherever possible, if:
- Payment fails and stays unresolved.
- The Acceptable Use Policy is broken.
- Continuing would put another person's account or data at risk.
- We are required to by law.
We can also stop your sending immediately, without notice, if we believe it is about to get your LinkedIn account restricted. You may find that annoying. It is the whole point of the product.
8. Your data
Your data stays yours. You can export it or ask us to delete it at any time. Deleting your workspace removes your data within 30 days, backups included. See the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or for a LinkedIn account being restricted or closed.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit to be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Ending it
Cancel whenever you like. We may end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach. On termination, sending stops and you can export your data for 30 days.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you keep the protection of your local mandatory law.
12. Changes
Material changes come with 30 days' notice by email. Carrying on using Hellofew after that means you accept them; if you would rather not, cancel and we will refund the unused part of your period.
