Acceptable use policy

What you may and may not do with Hellofew. Short, because most of it is obvious — but the LinkedIn parts are not, so they are spelled out.

In plain English

Contact people who might genuinely want to hear from you, using your own account, and stop when they ask. Do not run another automation tool alongside us — that is the one rule most people break by accident, and it is the one that gets accounts banned.

The rules that protect your account

  • One automation tool per LinkedIn account — ours. A Chrome extension counts. A scheduler counts. If something else is also acting on the account, our caps become fiction: we count what we send, LinkedIn counts everything. If we detect a gap between what we sent and what LinkedIn says the account sent, we stop and call you.
  • The account must be yours. Not a colleague's, not a shared company profile, not one you bought. One LinkedIn account can be connected to one Hellofewworkspace, and we enforce that.
  • Do not fight the session. Keep using LinkedIn normally on your own devices — that is healthy. Just do not use a VPN that changes country while a campaign is running.
  • Do not ask us to raise the caps. 20 a day and 80 a week are constants in the code. There is no setting, and support cannot override them.

The rules that protect the people you contact

  • Only contact people with a plausible business reason to hear from you.
  • Have a lawful basis. In the EEA and UK that usually means legitimate interest, which requires a written assessment on file and a genuinely easy opt-out. In India, the DPDP Act is consent-first and business outreach is not a clean exemption — take local advice before scaling Indian outbound.
  • Honour removals immediately. We suppress globally within one working day of any request we see, and you must not work around it.
  • No purchased or scraped lists without a lawful basis to contact the people on them.
  • Do not misrepresent who you are or who you work for.

Never

  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or contacting someone who has told you to stop.
  • Scams, phishing, fake offers, impersonation, or malware.
  • Anything illegal where you are or where the recipient is.
  • Recruiting for, or promoting, violence or self-harm.
  • Reselling or reverse-engineering Hellofew, or using it to build a competing service.
  • Deliberately probing or overloading our infrastructure.

What happens if you break this

Depending on severity: we stop your sending, we suspend the workspace, or we close the account. For anything that puts another person at risk, or that is plainly illegal, we act immediately and without notice. Where we can, we tell you what happened and why first.

Reporting

If you received a message through Hellofew that broke these rules, tell us at adarsh@hellofew.com. Include the message. We will action it and, if you want, add you to the global do-not-contact list at the same time — see the Privacy Policy.
